De gevechten in Noord-Afrika waren uniek in de Tweede Wereldoorlog. Nu voer jij het bevel over de troepen van de As (Duitsland en Italië) of de Geallieerden (het Verenigd Koninkrijk en uiteindelijk de Verenigde Staten) in een campagne die opnieuw tot de verbeelding van de hele wereld kan spreken. Onderschep vijandelijke konvooien op weg naar de havens van Noord-Afrika… terwijl je je eigen konvooien beschermt. Bewijs je logistieke bekwaamheid door je troepen te bevoorraden. Maar bovenal, toon je vindingrijkheid als generaal en je kunt de loop van de geschiedenis veranderen en uiteindelijk het respect van je tegenstanders winnen.
